The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
